Sara, a girl of 10, see strange things in the house: from floating furniture to creepy ghosts. Nobody believes her and certainly not her big sister, who is mainly interested in boys. Together with her friends Madhi and John, an eccentric inventor, they go in search of the truth. The investigation leads them quickly to her dark neighbors: the mistress, the concierge and an old woman. Using Johns fantastic Totenwacker draw them into battle against the ghosts in the basement of the house.
